XIMENA ZUNIGA
"I believe that people have always been dragged into following
certain parameters imposed or proposed by their environment.
I use sarcasm and irony as a way to reflect the mass
consumpition society surrounding me, where everything and
everybody is replaceable or expendable."
BIO
Born in Colombia in 1978. She started her path within the art world as a sculptress graduating from the Venice Fine Arts Academy in 2007 and has been working as an artist since presenting her installations at various exhibitions in cities such as Milan and Florence in Italy and Bogota and Cali in Colombia. In 2011, she had a hiatus from her artist life when she joined ranks with the White Room Art System Gallery in Positano,Italy where she worked as a gallerist, P.R and curator.
Through opportunities to combine her expertise in art with excellent social and PR skills, she discovered an ever growing passion to promote other contemporary artists. Now, here we are.
